Gallery 1008 - Tianmen Square & Forbidden City, Beijing - Part 2

The city of Beijing has at its heart Tainanmen Square one of the largest spaces of its kind in the world. Used for mass political rallies it also contains the mausoleum where Chairman Mao's body lies in state. Flaning one side of the square are the outer walls of the Forbidden City where Chinese Emperors once held court.
