These images were taken in the eastern suburbs of Kathmandu near Gaushala and Battisputali where commerce takes place on the street. The hustle and bustle tell you that life is roaring along at high speed yet there is also a certain Asian tranquility to the scene. A fascinating mix when viewed through European eyes. I can't wait for more - its intoxicating!
