The small town of Malakwal was an important railway junction. The north to south mainline was supplemented by a number of small branch lines which even in the late 1980s had regular and well patronised trains. Operated by a variety of ancient British designs these trains drew steam railway enthusiats from all over the world. Click thumbnails for larger images.
