Gallery 1040 - Between Rustrel and Cléments, Luberon, Vaucluse, Provence

The villages of the Luberon in Vaucluse fit perfectly in the countryside with the buildings constructed from the local stone. Containing many interesting buildings, the villages saw gradual depopulation in the 19th century and it was only the emergence of tourism that has revived their fortunes. These two villages lie a few kilometres apart and see few tourists.
