Gallery 1010 - Ronda, a visit in winter before the crowds arrive
Ronda is situated on a rocky bluff surrounded by cliffs making it an almost perfect site for a fortress. The town is full of interesting buildings which are responsible for attracting large numbers of tourists from the Andalucian costal resorts. An early start meant I was in town before the sun peeked above the horizon and being winter meant it would be some time before the crowds arrived. Wandering the empty streets was wonderful and meant that pictures uncluttered by tourists were easy to obtain.
